Jennifer got the BRISKET 16.5 angus beef, baked for a day with garlic, mushrooms, onions & spices, cooled, sliced and roasted again 'til it's fork tender - served with honey bunny carrots and le smush potatoes ...grandma's proud of this one!
Jenny got the CHICKEN SALTIMBOCCA 17.5 this is not a dance... its breast of chicken folded with prosciutto, provolone & herbs - finished with Madeira butter sauce and a dollop of sour cream and chive mashers ... now start dancing!
Stacy and Chris got the BOWSTRING WALLEYE $19 memories of "going up north" fishing for walleye on bowstring lake brings back this favorite family recipe of sunflower seed crusted walleye, sautéed & topped with a sweet corn relish and served with sweet potato mashers and our homemade tartar sauce...this big one didn't get away!
We did pass our plates and everything was wonderful.
We shared wine and a chocolate dessert, Key Lime pie, and pumpkin cheesecake.

Our ornament exchange was extra fun this year for some reason!
There were 3 with a Scandanavian theme, two elegant white elongated ornaments, a snowman ornament, and a JOY ornament.

We met at 6pm and left shortly after 9am.
We got caught up with Jenny and her surgery, talked about our Thanksgivings, some kid talk (God Bless Siblings!), shared our ED wkd with Wendy, and heard about Jennifer & Eric’s trip. She even had a few pictures for us!
Stacy was very generous and gave all of us Tastefully Simple beer bread mixes and Wild Rice Soup mixes. Thank you, Stacy!
Sharon shared almonds in these cute little containers (ha!) to keep us healthy in 2011 … Eat at least 12 almonds per day, girls!! And a holiday themed post-it note cuz who doesn’t need post-it notes. Ha!
