July ED - Lisa's pick

After much research and debate (with myself), I have chosen Grand Szechuan in Bloomington. The address is 10602 France Ave. South. (952-888-6507) I think it is in a strip mall. ~Lisa

We ordered 3 appetizers: dumplings, egg rolls, and wontons(?).
Lisa had
Jenny had
Jennifer and Stacy had
Sharon had the Mongolian Beef.
Sharon’s mom, Ardy, had the orange duck.

Chris is flitting around Minn camping with Greg and April.
Wendy decided not to come; the rain we had late afternoon might make Manny late, etc.

We all put our meals on the Lazy Susan which made passing and sharing very easy and continuous all night long.
Stacy and Jennifer’s dishes were not spicy as expected. Jennifer asked for a jar of “spicy” and that seemed to help.
But overall, everyone really enjoyed their food. Jennifer was heard saying she liked everyone else’s better than her own… that’s unusual for Jennifer! :)

We went around and shared how we celebrated the Fourth of July.
Jenny’s Dan bagged the big annual 4th of July Miller picnic after 18 straight years and Aunt Duffy admired him for it “I love those Irish men!”… How does he get away with stuff like that?!?!? ha!
We got to hear more about Lisa’s brother’s wedding. Abby sang beautifully for the wedding. We saw pics of the wedding as well as some of the other sites they saw while they were there. Great trip!
Jenny is right on track and headed back to work on Monday with cautions from all of us to take it easy!!!
We talked about the latest good books to read (The Help) and the latest good movies to see (Karate Kid and Toy Story 3) !!
Sharon’s mom had fun and got some good travel advice for their trip to Maine and Nova Scotia in the Fall. Now there are only two moms yet to join us ==> Jenny’s and Wendy’s. Then do we start letting them come for a 2nd time? Ha!!

Decided we need a Doodle to pin down a date for our annual Fall getaway. Sharon will get that out there for us.
